Lesson 2.3You are promoted to the highest line you beat, in one move, and nobody reviews it.
Prefer to listen? This is the same lesson, word for word. The text below is the transcript.
This lesson prepares you to: Predict which fleet you will hold after the close, including jumps of several levels at once.
There is no ladder to climb one rung at a time. At the weekly close you are promoted to the highest threshold you beat that week, whatever fleet you were holding before.
A Bronze Anchor creator who receives 3,500,000 diamonds in gifts in a single week lands on Diamond Armada at the next close. Not Silver Compass. Not Gold Helm on the way. Diamond Armada, in one move, from the bottom.
The same is true of every jump in between. Beat 1,250,000 from Bronze Anchor and you hold Sapphire Fleet. Beat 400,000 and you hold Gold Helm. You are never made to serve time at a level you already passed.
Your fleet is set at the weekly close, using the week that just ended. That means there is a one week lag built into the system.
Beating a threshold on Wednesday does not raise your split on Wednesday. It raises it at Monday's close. For the rest of that Wednesday, and Thursday, and the weekend, you are still being paid at the fleet you were already holding. Do not plan a cash out around a threshold you crossed mid week. Plan it around the close.
| What creators assume | What actually happens |
|---|---|
| You move up one fleet per week | You move to the highest line you beat, in one step |
| Your split changes the moment you cross | Your split changes at the Monday close |
| Someone reviews and approves it | Nobody reviews anything |
There is no cron job, no admin screen, no human in the loop and no application to fill in. The close is computed the first time anything reads your fleet after the week turns over. It is idempotent, so it happens exactly once per creator per week whether you look at it or not.
You do not need to open the app at midnight. You do not need to check in. If you are asleep, or on holiday, or offline for a month, the close still resolves correctly the moment your fleet is next read.
No Helm staff member can set, grant or hold a fleet for you. There is no code path that writes a fleet other than the automatic weekly close. That means nobody can quietly promote a friend, and it also means nobody can rescue you from a bad week. Do not ask, and be suspicious of anyone who offers.
The only input is gifts received. Not hours streamed, not how often you go live, not how active you are. Gifts, inside the week, compared to the thresholds.
Next: the hold line, the grace week, and exactly how far you can fall.
