This lesson prepares you to: Explain what a fleet is, what each one pays, and why the bonus applies to your whole balance.

A fleet is your pay grade

Your fleet is the one thing on Helm that changes how much of a diamond you keep. There are five of them. You move between them once a week, automatically, based on the gifts you received.

The threshold is weekly diamonds. A diamond is one cent of gross gifting, so every threshold is also a dollar figure. It is the gifting you received inside a single week.

FleetWeekly diamondsGifting in one weekSplit bonus
Bronze Anchor0$0+0%
Silver Compass200,000$2,000+1%
Gold Helm400,000$4,000+2%
Sapphire Fleet1,250,000$12,500+5%
Diamond Armada3,500,000$35,000+10%

Everyone starts on Bronze Anchor. The base split is 50% and the total is capped at 60%, so 60% is only reachable while you are holding Diamond Armada. There is nothing above it.

50% base + 2% Gold Helm = 52% of your available balance

The bonus applies to your whole balance

This is the part creators underestimate, so read it twice. The fleet you hold at the moment you cash out sets the rate on your entire available diamond balance. Not just the diamonds from the week that qualified you. Everything sitting in the account.

Holding Diamond Armada for one week lifts the value of everything you have banked to 60%. Losing the fleet lowers it again. The balance did not change. The rate on it did.

So one strong week does two jobs. It pays you for that week, and it revalues the money you were already holding. That is why a creator with a large banked balance should care about the timing of a cash out more than a creator who withdraws every week.

The other ladder pays nothing

Helm also has a lifetime rank ladder, Deckhand up to Admiral. It pays nothing at all. It does not touch your split, it does not unlock money, and it cannot be spent. It is a badge for total diamonds earned across your whole time on Helm.

If someone tells you that making Admiral raises your percentage, they are wrong. Only the fleet moves the split.

Everything else in this track builds on those two facts. Five fleets, set weekly. One rate, applied to the whole balance.

Next: which diamonds actually count toward that weekly total, and which ones quietly do not.
